Civics and Government Choice Boards

Civics Choice Boards: activities students choose

Civics covers a lot of ground, and not every student learns it the same way. I use these choice boards so students can pick how they show what they know about the Constitution, the three branches, voting and citizenship. Every board comes in paper and Google versions, which makes it easy to assign as homework or use in a paperless class.

This is also a great option to go paperless or at least give students a paperless homework option.

A tip from my classroom

Use the choice board as your plan for early finishers. When students wrap up classwork, they pick their next activity from the board for the unit you're in. It keeps them working on civics content, and you're not hunting for something extra in the last ten minutes of class.
